Plain language, no dark patterns.
This site belongs to Taranity (https://taranity.com). It uses no tracking or advertising cookies and shows no consent banner because it does not need one. Here is exactly what happens with your data.
What we collect, and when
- The contact form. Only if you submit it: your name, email, and message. Before it sends, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms you are human - a cookieless CAPTCHA alternative that processes minimal technical signals (such as your IP) purely to tell people from bots. Your message is then delivered to us through Web3Forms (a form-to-email service acting as a processor) and used solely to reply. It is never sold, shared for marketing, or added to any list.
- Analytics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-first, cookieless, fully aggregated, with no personal data and no cross-site tracking. Nothing identifies you.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, it processes connection data (such as your IP) in transient server logs to deliver the site and protect against abuse.
Cookies and local storage
No tracking or advertising cookies, and nothing stored to profile you. The only things kept on your device are your preferences: your light or dark mode (saved in your browser's local storage) and the design you pick with the switcher (a single functional cookie the site reads to show you that design). Neither identifies you, and clearing your site data removes them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its processing. In practice the only data we ever hold is the message you chose to send us, so a deletion request simply means we delete that email. Write to hello@taranity.com and we will handle it promptly.
Retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted. Analytics data is aggregated and never tied to an individual.
